Palm Springs' First-Ever AI Conference Is Back: PS/NExT Summit 2026

The City of Palm Springs has officially announced the return of its first-ever AI conference — PS/NExT Summit 2026 — New Experiences in Technology — happening June 22–23, 2026 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
Building on the 2025 Palm Springs AI & Creativity Expo (500+ attendees, NPS 53), the 2026 edition expands into a broader regional platform spanning AI, emerging tech, creativity, business, education, and entrepreneurship — six immersive tracks including the Local Business Vibe-a-thon and GenJam creative sprint. The lineup is headlined by Rob Minkoff, co-director of Disney's Academy Award–winning The Lion King, with featured talent including Baratunde Thurston, Philip Su, Kelly Boesch, Cristopher Cichocki, and Glen Wexler.
Coachella Valley residents qualify for a $95 two-day pass; local students and educators attend free through sponsored community access programs. A free public kick-off event is set for May 21, 2026 at 5 p.m. at the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum.
The summit is presented by the City of Palm Springs Office of Economic Development and the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Palm Springs Convention Center.
