A Free Preview Event This Week Kicks Off Palm Springs' Biggest Tech Summit
NBC Palm Springs previews the free public kick-off for PS/NExT Summit 2026 — Thursday, May 21 at 5 p.m. at the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum (140 N. Indian Canyon Drive). No ticket required; organizers ask attendees to RSVP at PalmSpringsNext.com/kickoff.
The preview will unveil summit speakers, programming, and interactive experiences, and launch the Local Business Vibe-a-thon — an innovation challenge that pairs Coachella Valley businesses with builders, students, designers, and entrepreneurs using AI tools to prototype solutions to real operating challenges.
The full Summit runs June 22–23 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, with six tracks for residents, small businesses, education, creativity, and entrepreneurship. GenJam — the AI-focused creative sprint for film, music, and visual art — returns to the lineup. Last year’s inaugural Summit drew more than 500 attendees and industry leaders across technology, education, and digital media.
