Palm Springs Tech Summit Returns This Summer with Free Access for Students

NBC Palm Springs broadcast still — chyron reads 'PALM SPRINGS A.I. CONVENTION RETURNS JUNE 22ND' over a stage shot of a speaker with a Marketing Plan slide.

NBC Palm Springs reports on the return of the PS/NExT Summit 2026 to the Palm Springs Convention Center on June 22–23, building on last year's inaugural expo that drew more than 500 attendees.

The piece highlights the headline lineup — Rob Minkoff (co-director, Disney's The Lion King), Baratunde Thurston, and Philip Su (former Meta / OpenAI / Microsoft) — alongside the access programs that make the Summit broadly available: $95 two-day passes for Coachella Valley residents, and free admission for local students and educators through sponsored community access programs.

"Technology and creativity have always been inextricably linked, and it feels like we're standing at the edge of an unprecedented new era for artists and storytellers. And if this Summit can also make a meaningful impact on education and young people, that makes it all the more important." — Rob Minkoff
